A private grave-side service was held for immediate family on January 2 in the Brandon United Methodist Cemetery. Pastor Warren was appointed to Conesville and New Moscow United Methodist churches at the time of his passing. He had previously served at Batemantown, Berlin, Midvale, Newport, and Nashville. Dessie V. Essex,surviving spouse of the Rev. Otis Essex, died April 12. The ideal candidate would be a family man with at least five years experience as a gospel preacher.

Purchase is survived by son Thomas Purchase III, daughter Adrienne Gonzales, and one granddaughter. Rev. John H. Landrum served Cleveland Bay, Chagrin Falls, Pleasant Hills, Ashland Christ, and Epworth-Euclid UMCs. Rev. Neth served Columbia Station, Brooklyn Memorial, and West Salem/Crawford Corners UMCs. • The congregation before this one was in Laurel, Ms. I’ve only been a full-time minister with two congregations. The role of the Minister will be defined as the needs of Ice Lake change. Regular leadership meetings will keep the Minister informed and involved in the process of defining the ministry involvement.
She is survived by children Sybil Baker, Jill Petryczkiewycz, Philip Waggamon, and Dennis Waggamon; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Rev. Mostad is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons Daniel and Joel ; and six grandchildren. Mr. Conley’s wife, the Rev. Nancy L. Conley, served Canton Christ, Canton Church of the Lakes, and Louisville Peace United Methodist Churches. Rev. Brown served McZena Hope, Wooster, Randolph, Canfield, and New Philadelphia First United Methodist Churches in the East Ohio Conference.
